So I leave for the DR in about a day and a half and I'm finally starting to get some things in order. I just got back from the Travel Clinic where I got three shots along with some prescriptions (props to Greg for helping me out at the pharmacy today - thanks Greg!). Though I still haven't started packing, I did make a list of things I need to bring and spent today going from store to store buying some things I need.
This morning I headed over to Camp Sloper to check out how Preview Week is going. This is the first time I won't be working there in 8 years, so I was kind of sad being there - but happy to see so many smiling faces. I also got to meet Carlos, this year's International Counselor who happens to be from..... drum roll please..... the Dominican Republic! He is very nice and seems to be enjoying working at camp so far. And I got to prove to Dylan that I actually do speak Spanish. :)
